Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree required; PE license preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Proven track record of managing medium-sized projects (budgets/schedules).
• Familiarity with latest codes, regulations, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance within civil engineering, ensuring project elements meet industry standards.
• Lead development and assessment of project scopes, evaluating impacts on timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across engineering disciplines and client teams.
• Oversee QA by reviewing design work for codes, standards, and constructibility requirements.
• Stamp necessary project documents with PE certification where applicable.
• Manage staffing plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure project success.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing and development.
• Balance technical precision with strategic project management to deliver solutions.
