Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Civil Engineer 4 to drive medium-sized projects from concept to completion. You will provide advanced civil/structural engineering analyses, develop practical design solutions, and stamp project documents using your PE license.

You will collaborate with multiple disciplines, oversee QA, manage staffing and budgets, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with a strong commitment to quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program (or acceptable alternative).
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical guidance within civil engineering; ensure designs meet industry standards.
• Lead development and assessment of project scopes; manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts and ensure cohesive project outcomes.
