Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training to contribute to a variety of land development projects in the Community Development Group. You will assist in developing construction plans, reports, and cost estimates while collaborating with design teams and clients.

The role emphasizes field observations, adherence to codes, and continued learning with opportunities to advance toward professional licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT designation or ability to take the exam within six months of starting preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of related professional work or Co-op/Internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks under supervision of Project Manager or Project Engineer.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and professionals in project coordination.
• Perform data analysis and calculations to design civil system components.
• Collect data to support design decisions.
• Perform field observations and assist in construction coordination.
