Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training for our Community Development Group in Fargo, ND. You will collaborate with design teams on land development projects, help develop construction plans and contract documents, and perform field observations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT designation or ability to take EIT exam within six months preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of related professional work or Co-op/Internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks under supervision of Project Manager or Project Engineer.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and professionals for project coordination.
• Perform data analysis and calculations to design civil system components.
• Collect data to support design decisions and perform field observations as needed.
• Interpret and verify compliance with codes and engineering standards and practices.
• Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
