Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Reno, NV seeks a Civil Engineer II to join our team. Responsibilities include leading design for land/site development, coordinating with clients and agencies, and applying standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 3+ years of experience, and EIT/PE consideration. Proficiency with Civil3D, AutoCAD and stormwater calculations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Three or more (3+) years of civil engineering experience; land/site development preferred.
• EIT certification and/or progress toward PE license preferred.
• Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD and stormwater/H&H software.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Complete civil engineering work and calculations using CAD/engineering software.
• Prepare reports and coordination with multi-discipline teams.
• Review plans and provide technical assistance for design problems.
