Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Civil Engineer II to join our Mesa, AZ team. You will evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques to moderately complex land/site development projects.

Collaborate with senior engineers, clients, and design teams to develop plans, specifications, and reports. A Bachelor's in civil engineering and 3+ years of experience are preferred; EIT/PE progression is encouraged. Bowman offers a robust benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required at hire.
• EIT certification and/or progress toward PE license preferred.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience; land/site development preferred.
• Proficiency with reading construction plans and design software.
• Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and stormwater tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design approaches for land/site projects.
• Develop plans, specifications, and reports for assigned phases.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, clients, and sub-consultants.
• Perform field investigations and detailed design calculations.
• Review plans and ensure quality across multi-discipline teams.
