Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineer II to join our team remotely in the United States. You will evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects, coordinating with senior engineers, clients, and design teams.

Responsibilities include conceptual design for large land/site development, plan and coordinate detailed phases, and prepare plans, reports, and specifications. Requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required at time of hire.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience; land/site development preferred.
• EIT certification or PE progress preferred.
• Proficiency with Civil3D and AutoCAD; knowledge of drainage and stormwater design.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Complete civil engineering work for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Prepare reports and calculations using computer-aided design software.
• Provide technical assistance in resolving design problems and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Review plans and prepare/ review technical specifications and estimates.
