Job summary

Stantec in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Civil Engineer to design a broad range of public and private development projects across New Mexico under a Project Manager. You will contribute to site design, grading, drainage, roadways, utilities, and preparation of construction documents.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, is a licensed PE, and has 6+ years of land development experience, including public works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• 6+ years of land development design experience.
• Experience with public works projects including grading design, roadway design, site design, sewer and water design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design public and private development projects under PM guidance.
• Prepare submissions, calculations, and cost estimates for entitlements and construction documents.
• Coordinate with project teams and agencies during review and approvals.
• Develop three-dimensional models of civil systems.
• Perform QA/QC and support standards development and workflow improvements.
