Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer in Community Development to design a broad range of public and private development projects in New Mexico under a Project Manager. The role involves layout, grading, drainage, roadway and utility design, with opportunities to prepare estimates, calculations, and construction documents.

The position requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 6+ years of land development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• 6+ years of land development design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects including layout, grading, drainage, roadways, water and sewer.
• Prepare submission packages, calculations, and cost estimates for entitlements.
• Coordinate with project team and agencies during reviews and approvals.
• Develop concept designs and study phase tasks with feasibility input.
• Contribute to QA/QC and development of new design standards.
