Kimley-Horn's Las Vegas, NV office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of municipal wastewater design experience to join the Water/Wastewater team. This is not a remote position and offers mentorship, on-the-job training, and exposure to plan production and client interactions.

You will contribute to design of water and wastewater systems, manage project tasks, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality results.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of municipal wastewater engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering.
• ETI/Engineering Intern certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with pipelines, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling calculations.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Detail-oriented with teamwork ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
• Contribute to municipal water and wastewater utility design projects.
• Manage project tasks, design work, permitting, and coordination during construction.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to complete projects.
• Maintain high-quality plan sets and check colleagues' work.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Receive on-the-job and formal training with mentorship.
