Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Denver to support project execution from preliminary design to construction drawings. You will assist with scope, budget, and scheduling, and help prepare grading, drainage, and street improvement documents for public works projects across the western US.

The role emphasizes field observation, coordination with internal and external teams, and developing technical design solutions under supervision of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D and AutoTURN.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and managing the project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Support Civil Engineers preparing grading, drainage, and street improvements drawings.
• Prepare construction quantity estimates and basic cost analyses.
• Coordinate with design teams and external consultants to ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform field work/construction observation under supervision as needed.
