Job summary

Stantec is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer-in-Training to join the Community Development practice in San Bernardino, Irvine, or Pasadena, California. You will prepare plans, specs, and estimates for civil facilities and assist with project implementation under mentorship.

The role emphasizes AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, and teamwork with a focus on preparing for your Professional Engineering License in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar accredited degree.
• Minimum 1 year of engineering experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or plans to take the FE exam within California within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities (grading, roadways, drainage, etc.).
• Assist with implementation of facilities on residential, commercial, industrial, and other projects.
• Work under supervision to gain experience for Professional Engineering License.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office in project work.
• Collaborate in a dynamic team environment and deliver client service.
