Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Fort Worth, TX office seeks a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

You will perform site development engineering, project management, and site civil design for a variety of projects, with mentorship and exposure to plan production and client interactions. You will work with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, permitting, and cost estimating, contributing to a positive work environment and

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm.
• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-In-Training certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/storm drainage programs.
• Support land development site designs and related permitting.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and project teams, assist in cost estimating and plan production.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in client interactions and project financials.
