Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Georgetown, Texas office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training with 2+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. The role focuses on site development engineering, design, and project management for a variety of land development projects.

You will work with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology and storm drainage software, and engage in permitting, plan production, and client interactions while receiving mentorship and formal training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering experience
• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree
• Engineer-In-Training or eligible to obtain within 12 months
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management for a variety of projects
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and software applications including hydrology modeling and storm drainage tools, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Contribute to land development site designs and associated documentation
• Conduct research, coordinate with stakeholders, manage projects and assist with staff oversight and cost estimating
• Participate in plan production, project financials, and client interactions and receive mentorship
