Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Tyler, Texas office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training with 2+ years of experience to join our Land Development team. This is not a remote position and offers mentorship, plan production exposure, and client interactions.

You will perform site development engineering, project management, and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, and storm drainage tools, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm.
• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelors/Master's).
• EIT/Engineering Intern certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and related software applications.
• Engage in land development site design projects.
• Contribute to research, coordination, budgeting, and client interactions.
• Receive mentorship and exposure to plan production and project financials.
