Kimley-Horn is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of civil engineering experience to join our Land Development team in Benbrook, Texas. This on-site role involves site development engineering, project management, and coordination with clients and staff.

The ideal candidate has an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree and is or will be certified as an Engineer-In-Training within 12 months. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering required.
• "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet client deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Aufgaben

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use hydrology, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Projects include land development site designs.
• Research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance and bid package preparation.
• Receive on-the-job and formal training, mentorship, and exposure to plan production and client interactions.
