Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Phoenix, AZ office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position, and the role offers on-the-job and formal training with mentorship.

You will perform site development engineering, project management, and coordination with clients, staff, and permitting authorities while advancing your EIT credentials and technical skills in Civil 3D and related software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering (B.S. or M.S.).
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management for multiple projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/storm drainage software.
• Contribute to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.
