Kimley-Horn's Mesa, AZ office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This role will perform site development engineering, project management, and site civil design, including permitting and use of hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

Not remote and located in Mesa, the position offers mentorship, on-the-job training, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-In-Training or Engineering Intern certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use of hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Work on land development site designs and related tasks.
• Coordinate, manage projects, assist with staff supervision, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance, and bid package preparation.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship, with exposure to plan production and client interactions.
