Job summary

Bohler’s Chalfont, PA office is seeking a Design Engineer to support diverse land development projects in Bucks County. You’ll gain exposure to every stage of the site design process, developing skills in grading, stormwater management, and permitting.

You will assist with site layouts, collaborate with managers and engineers, and perform drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D while supporting permitting with local and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of site design experience across residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.
• Attention to detail and curiosity to learn new tools and methods.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater plans.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to deliver design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges.
