Qualifications

• 3+ years of Legal Assistant experience supporting civil litigation preferred.
• Experience in high-volume law firm or litigation environment preferred.
• Familiarity with state and federal court filing procedures and electronic filings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and litigation support to civil defense attorneys.
• Draft, edit, format, and proofread legal documents under attorney direction.
• Prepare court filings and electronic filings.
• Coordinate subpoenas, records requests, and deadlines.
• Maintain organized case files and manage attorney calendars.
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings; assist with discovery and trial prep.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist with time entry, billing, and other administrative duties.
• Handle confidential information with professional discretion.
