Job summary

J+M Infrastructure is seeking a Concrete Finisher to support civil construction and site development projects across Virginia. The role involves setting form boards, placing reinforcement, and finishing concrete for curbs, sidewalks, pavements and stairs.

The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable and ready to work on active sites. Applicants should have experience in forming and finishing concrete, be able to read a tape measure, and be comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must have own transportation to job sites
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must work safely
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays
• CDL preferred but not required
• Concrete experience is a plus
• Shooting and reading grades is a plus
• Equipment operating is a plus
• Must pass drug test/screening

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
