Job summary

J+M Infrastructure in Virginia is seeking a Concrete Finisher to install curbs, sidewalks, pavement and stairs. The ideal candidate is motivated, hardworking and ready to roll up sleeves to complete concrete projects with safety in mind.

You will set forms, reinforce, level and finish concrete, read grades, and be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, and commuting to job sites. CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own transportation to job sites required.
• Lift 60 lbs, squat and climb ladders.
• Read a tape measure.
• Willing to work overtime on Saturdays.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Concrete experience is a plus.
• Shooting/reading grades is a plus.
• Equipment operating is a plus.
• Must pass drug test/screening.

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Set form boards for concrete pours
• Set reinforcement
• Level, shape, float and finish concrete

General Requirements:

• 4 years experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license is required
• Must have own transportation to job sites
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
