Job summary

J+M Infrastructure in central and southwest Virginia is seeking a reliable Concrete Finisher to join our civil construction team in Bedford. You will finish concrete forms, set grades, and apply finishing techniques on curbs, sidewalks, pavements and stairs with a hands-on, safety-first approach.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of experience or more, a valid driver's license, own transport, ability to lift 60 lbs, read a tape measure, and willingness to OT on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must have own transportation to job sites.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must work safely.
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Concrete experience is a plus.
• Shooting and reading grades is a plus.
• Equipment operating is a plus.
• Must pass drug test/screening.

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
