Job summary

J+M Infrastructure is seeking a Concrete Finisher to perform concrete finishing on site across central and southwest Virginia. The candidate will set form boards, place reinforcement, and finish concrete for curbs, sidewalks, pavement, and stairs, on projects with overtime potential.

Ideal applicants have 4 years of concrete experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 60 lbs and read a tape measure. CDL is a plus, and drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own transportation to job sites.
• Able to lift 60 lbs, squat and climb ladders.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Must work safely.
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Concrete experience is a plus.
• Shooting and reading grades is a plus.
• Equipment operating is a plus.
• Must pass drug test/screening.

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
