Job summary

J+M Infrastructure is hiring for a Concrete Finisher to support central and southwest Virginia projects. The role focuses on forming, reinforcing, and finishing concrete for curbs, sidewalks, pavements, and stairs. Must be ready to work with hands-on tasks and remain committed to quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has experience with concrete finishing, reading tape measures, and working safely, with ability to lift 60lbs and work overtime on Saturdays. CDL is a plus, not required.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience preferred in concrete finishing.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must have own transportation to job sites.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, squat and climb ladders.
• Able to read a tape measure and work safely.
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Concrete experience is a plus; shooting/reading grades a plus; equipment operating a plus.

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Set form boards for concrete pours
• Set reinforcement
• Level, shape, float and finish concrete
