Job summary

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor focused on Civil Construction and Site Development with emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We are seeking Concrete Finishers to join our team in central and southwest Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, pavement and stairs, with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have own transportation to job sites.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must work safely.
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Concrete experience is a plus.
• Shooting and reading grades is a plus.
• Equipment operating is a plus.
• Must pass drug test/screening.

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Set form boards for concrete pours
• Set reinforcement
• Level, shape, float and finish concrete

General Requirements:
