Job summary

J+M Infrastructure is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our Civil, Site & Utilities team in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience finishing concrete curbs, sidewalks, pavement and stairs, and be willing to work in demanding outdoor conditions. You should be able to read a tape measure, lift 60 lbs, and pass drug screening.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites are required; CDL is a plus. Overtime on Saturdays may be needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must work safely.
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Concrete experience is a plus.
• Shooting and reading grades is a plus.
• Equipment operating is a plus.
• Must pass drug test/screening.

Concrete Finisher

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, be willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Set form boards for concrete pours
• Set reinforcement
• Level, shape, float and finish concrete

General Requirements:

• 4 years experience is preferred
