Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a CADD Technician, Civil in Raleigh, NC to support civil designers and engineers on substation, transmission line, and right-of-way projects. You will draft site layout, grading, walls, stormwater, and permitting drawing sets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CAD drafting experience in civil/site/utilities.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret redlines/markups.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up drawings per CAD standards.
• Prepare plots for substation and site civil deliverables.
• Incorporate redlines into drawings quickly and accurately.
• Perform basic area/volume calculations for grading and stormwater.
• Create sitemaps with utilities for site design.
• Draft permitting and construction drawings for substations.
• Coordinate drawing updates with designers and engineers.
