Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Civil CAD Design Technician to join our hybrid work team. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to produce accurate drawings, edit based on client marks, and create/modify base drawings across multiple projects with professional output.

Knowledge of Civil 3D styles is preferred, with an Associates degree in Design or Technical Drafting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Design or Technical Drafting is required or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality CAD output.
• Experience with Civil 3D styles and functionality is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings.
• Make drawing edits based on markups from client and/or Engineers.
• Create and/or modify base drawings.
• Follow CAD standards and processes to produce project documents from start to finish.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.

- Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings

- Make drawing edits based on mark ups from client and/or Engineers

- Create and/or modify base drawings

- Be relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards

- Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time

- Follow CAD standards and process Required Credentials

- Have a general understanding of Civil 3D styles and functionality

Here's what you'll need

- Ability to work well both independently and as a team

- Attention to detail, quality work products, and client service

- Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word)

- At least 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation Inroads or OpenRoads a plus

- Associates degree in either Design arena or Technical Drafting field

The base salary range for this position is $74,500.00 to $130,300.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
