Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an entry level Civil CAD Design Technician to support project teams in producing quality drawings. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers, edit drawings from client markups, and create or modify base drawings while ensuring adherence to standards.

This role offers growth within a firm focused on complex infrastructure and urban development. Based in a hybrid environment, you will gain exposure to Civil 3D, Microstation Inroads, and OpenRoads while contributing

We'll expect you to

• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings


• Make drawing edits based on mark ups from client and/or Engineers


• Create and/or modify base drawings


• Be relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards


• Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time


• Follow CAD standards and process Required Credentials


• Have a general understanding of Civil 3D styles and functionality

Here's what you'll need

• Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word)


• At least 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation Inroads or OpenRoads a plus

The base salary range for this position is $54,100.00 to $97,250.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
