Job summary

Jacobs in Boise, Idaho is seeking a CAD/BIM skilled professional to design, engineer, and execute state-of-the-art facilities. You will contribute to 3D modeling, BIM coordination, and construction document creation for complex projects across multiple disciplines.

The role requires hands-on use of Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, with a focus on 3D coordination, view templates, sheets, and schedules. A hybrid work policy supports collaboration and remote work as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• AA degree in CAD or a similar technical field.
• Trained in Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.
• At least 2 years' experience with Revit or other 3D modeling software.
• Experience with BIM processes and Autodesk or Bentley tools.
• Proficient in setting up views, templates, sheets and schedules for construction documents.
• Proficient in printing full construction document sets and PDF QA reviews with Bluebeam.
• Experience coordinating with other disciplines in 3D content.

Here's what you'll need

• Associate’s degree (AA) Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree.
• Trained in Autodesk Autocad or Bentley Microstation software.
• At least 2 years working experience in Revit or other 3D modeling software
• Prior experience with BIM processes and parametric design software Autodesk or Bentley
• Proficiency setting up views, view templates, sheets, and schedules for construction documents.
• Proficiency printing full sets of construction documents and performing PDF quality control reviews in Bluebeam.
• Proficiency with design coordinating with other disciplines parametric and geometric content in 3D.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Autodesk Revit Certified Professional
• Prior experience actively designing low voltage and communications systems for buildings
• Experience in electrical and low voltage systems design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation

The base salary range for this position is $54,100.00 to $108,900.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
