Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an entry level Civil CAD Design Technician for our Corvallis, Oregon office. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to produce quality drawings and support multiple projects from start to finish.

We value attention to detail and teamwork. The base salary range for this position is $54,100 to $97,250, with hourly pay depending on hours worked and location, plus benefits and opportunities for growth within a global firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CAD experience in civil design
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation family
• Strong attention to detail and client service

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings
• Make drawing edits based on mark ups from client and/or Engineers
• Create and/or modify base drawings
• Be relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards
• Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Follow CAD standards and process

We'll expect you to

• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings
• Make drawing edits based on mark ups from client and/or Engineers
• Create and/or modify base drawings
• Be relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards
• Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Follow CAD standards and process Required Credentials
• Have a general understanding of Civil 3D styles and functionality

Here's what you'll need

• Ability to work well both independently and as a team
• Attention to detail, quality work products, and client service
• Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word)
• At least 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation Inroads or OpenRoads a plus

The base salary range for this position is $54,100.00 to $97,250.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
