Outsourcing Staffing Advantage (OSA) seeks an experienced Civil 3D Site Engineer to support residential and multifamily development projects in New York. The role emphasizes hands-on site grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design, with the ability to work independently.

This advanced engineering position requires strong drafting-less design skills, proficiency in Civil 3D, and the judgment to deliver compliant, constructible plans for U.S. urban projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on civil site design experience required.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• Knowledge of grading, hydrology, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• Experience with U.S. residential/multifamily projects; NY stormwater rules preferred.
• PE license not required, but strong engineering judgment essential.

Job description

Outsourcing Staffing Advantage (OSA) is seeking an experienced Civil 3D Site Engineer to support residential and multifamily development projects in New York. This role requires strong hands-on civil engineering experience, with the ability to independently design site grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems. This is an advanced engineering position, not an architectural drafting role.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare site grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Develop existing and proposed surfaces, contours, profiles, and feature lines.
• Perform runoff, cut-and-fill, drainage, and stormwater storage calculations.
• Design storm sewer networks, drywells, infiltration systems, and detention/retention facilities.
• Prepare construction drawings and revise plans based on engineering review comments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and civil site development.
• Proven ability to independently perform engineering calculations and site design.
• Solid knowledge of grading, hydrology, drainage systems, stormwater management, and utilities.
• Experience with U.S. projects and familiarity with New York stormwater requirements is preferred.
• A PE license is not required, but candidates must have the technical skills and engineering judgment of an experienced site engineer.
• Candidates with drafting-only experience are not suitable for this role.
