Josh Pros LLC is seeking an experienced civil/environmental engineer for a remote, US-based client in multidisciplinary design and civil engineering. You will lead design efforts across site, grading, drainage, road and utility systems while coordinating with project managers and clients.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D/MicroStation, and potentially NYS licensure. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or environmental engineering, landscape architecture, or similar.
• 10+ years of relevant civil engineering work experience.
• NYS PE or EIT preferred.
• Technical expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, or MicroStation. Experience with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software preferred.
• Teamwork and communication: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee design work for civil engineering projects that may involve site design, grading and drainage design, road/pavement design, stormwater management, utility design (sanitary sewer and water), and erosion & sediment control.
• Design and oversight of conceptual layouts and construction drawings as well as specifications, reports, cost estimates, SWPPPs & stormwater calculations, and water/sewer design.
• Complete quality work within budgets and timelines. Collaborate with project managers and senior staff on project status, schedules, and design and construction issues.
• Coordinate, delegate, and review work of junior designers. Mentor junior design staff.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, representatives of government agencies, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct/coordinate construction administration and periodic site visits to monitor quality and work progress.
• Stormwater or utility design experience preferred, including design of stormwater management practices, conveyance systems, SWPPPs, and water/sewer design.
