Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking an Interior Designer II to join the Civic & Justice Practice in Chicago. You will support design development, drawing production, and project administration across phases, with emphasis on RevIt and AutoCAD, Deltek Vantagepoint, and Adobe tools.

Public project experience is preferred. You will collaborate with project teams, conduct field surveys, participate in client meetings, and help advance diverse, inclusive design solutions for courthouses and civic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in Interior Design/Architecture; public projects preferred.
• Experience on courthouses, civic centers, detention facilities, and public safety buildings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drawings for all design phases and update documents as needed.
• Develop 2D/3D presentation drawings and models for client reviews.
• Participate in design charrettes and client meetings; support field surveys.
• Contribute to project administration and drawing production.
