The City and County of Honolulu seeks Customer Service Representatives to work in the Department of Customer Services (CSD), Satellite City Hall Division. This full-time, permanent role handles vehicle transactions, licenses, permits, and other city documents, collects payments, and supports city operations at various satellite locations.

Responsibilities include answering inquiries, greeting visitors, and performing general clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or eligible non-citizen for unrestricted employment.
• High school diploma required; education may be substituted by relevant work experience.
• One year of clerical experience with customer service or public contact.
• Substitution: business school or college may substitute for clerical experience, if accompanied by customer service work.

Responsabilités

• Process City transactions including registrations, titles, permits, licenses, and other services.
• Issue permits and certificates such as HOLO card passes and other documents.
• Collect and account for payments, determine fees, reconcile daily collections.
• Review applications for completeness and securely handle sensitive information.
• Assist customers by providing information and directing inquiries to appropriate agencies.
• Provide clerical support: answer phones, greet visitors, type letters and reports, maintain records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
