Job summary

Bosta in Cairo is seeking a City Manager to act as the business owner and general manager of the city — driving market end-to-end, leading commercial growth, scaling local accounts, and expanding Bosta’s footprint in the region.

You will work with local hub operations to ensure promises match fulfillment capacity, manage a high‑performing commercial team, and continuously analyze market dynamics to uncover new opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 years of commercial, sales, or business operations experience with leadership roles.
• Proven track record of owning revenue targets, territory expansion, and end-to-end business growth.
• Deep understanding of and strong commercial network within the target city.
• Hands-on leader balancing strategic planning with field execution and high-stakes merchant negotiations.
• Excellent data analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the city’s topline growth by identifying, pitching, and closing top-tier regional merchants, e-commerce businesses, and enterprise accounts.
• Spearhead regional expansion strategies, mapping out untapped business zones, industrial hubs, and merchant clusters across the city and surrounding areas.
• Oversee key merchant relationships locally, maintaining strong service levels, minimizing churn, and unlocking organic parcel growth.
• Collaborate with sorting facilities, logistics hubs, and fleet leads to ensure commercial promises match fulfillment capacity, on-time delivery rates, and pickup SLAs.
• Build, coach, and manage a high-performing local commercial and business development team, setting clear KPIs, pipeline discipline, and revenue targets.
• Continuously analyze competitor activity, regional shipping dynamics, and market pricing to identify new commercial opportunities.
