This senior role bridges Development and the CIP to ensure capital investments support responsible growth, long-term resilience, and community progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and at least ten years of civil engineering experience; master's preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Texas; Land Surveyor certification preferred.
• Municipal project experience and CIP familiarity are valued.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Engineering functions including CIP planning, design, survey, development review, and construction inspection.
• Bridge Development and CIP by evaluating growth, infrastructure capacity, and future needs.
• Prepare highly complex reports and present findings to City Council and commissions.
