Job summary

City of Conroe is seeking an Engineering Projects Specialist - Municipal Work to coordinate and provide technical expertise on municipal engineering projects, including roads, water systems, drainage and facilities.

The role collaborates with consultants, contractors, engineers and inspectors to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget while complying with state and federal regulations. A background in construction management or related civil field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or AS in construction management or related field.
• Minimum five years in state/local government or equivalent.
• Knowledge of municipal regulations and procurement law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate municipal engineering projects and manage schedules.
• Provide technical expertise and liaise with consultants, contractors and inspectors to meet deadlines and budgets.
