The opportunity
Jet Linx is hiring a full-time Second in Command to support safe, efficient Citation X operations across Part 91 and Part 135 flying. Based in Spokane, Washington, you will be a key member of a professional flight department that values proactive decision-making, precision, and exceptional client service.
In this role, you will blend operational, administrative, and regulatory responsibilities, travel frequently, and serve as an ambassador of Jet Linx core values on every trip.
What you will do
- Plan, prepare, and execute flights in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
- Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with company requirements and applicable CFRs.
- Maintain proactive communication regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
- Manage and maintain electronic flight bag hardware and applications; ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Uphold the highest safety standards and exercise strong, proactive decision-making at all times.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certificate and remain compliant with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform operational, administrative, and physical tasks around aircraft and terminals; able to move up to 50 pounds.
What you will bring
- Flight time minimums: 1,500 total time, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, 150 instrument.
- Licenses and certificates: Unrestricted ATP, first-class medical, FCC Restricted Radio License, current passport, and the ability to obtain a U.S. driver license.
- Work authorization: Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Travel readiness: Able to travel without restriction to EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations.
- Compliance: Ability to pass pre-employment and required random drug and alcohol testing and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Schedule flexibility: Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays; reside or relocate within a two-hour call-out of Spokane.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
