Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking a full-time Second-in-Command to join the Citation XLS+ team, supporting safe operations under Part 91 and Part 135. You will work as the right-seat leader with the Captain and the ops team to deliver a world-class private aviation experience while obeying CFRs and company procedures.

You will manage duty/rest, maintain EFB tools, and ensure current charts and manuals. A First-Class Medical, ATP eligibility, and relocation flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Total flight time must be at least 1,500 hours.
• PIC time: minimum 500 hours.
• Multi-engine time: at least 500 hours.
• Turbine time: 100+ hours.
• Instrument time: 150+ hours.
• ATP eligibility and FAA medical required.
• Ability to obtain U.S. work authorization and passport.
• FCC restricted radio license held or pursued.
• Pre-employment drug screening and random testing expected.
• Residence within or relocation to two-hour callout of home base.

Responsibilities

The opportunity

Jet Linx is seeking a full-time Second-in-Command to join our Citation XLS+ team, supporting safe, efficient operations under Part 91 and Part 135. As the right-seat leader, you’ll partner with the Captain and our operations team to deliver a world-class private aviation experience while upholding Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

What you’ll do

• Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company policy and applicable CFRs.
• Maintain clear communication regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post‑flight reports.
• Configure, update, and care for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current at all times.
• Maintain a current First-Class Medical and demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making.
• Represent Jet Linx core values with clients, teammates, and partners on every trip.
• Work primarily around aircraft and terminals; lift and move items up to 50 pounds as needed.

What you bring

• Flight time minimums: 1,500 hours total; 500 hours PIC; 500 hours multi-engine; 100 hours turbine; 150 hours instrument.
• Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the past 24 months preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, and a current passport.
• Ability to obtain an ATP; current FAA First-Class Medical.
• FCC Restricted Radio License.
• Successful pre‑employment drug screening and participation in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Unrestricted travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
• Authorization to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Residence within, or willingness to relocate within, a two-hour callout of the home base.
