Job summary

Clark County seeks a Network and Telecom Administrator to own Cisco voice environment (CUCM, voicemail, contact center) and support Cisco network duties. The role emphasizes reliable, well-documented voice services and day-to-day ownership of VoIP and UC services, with exposure to improving documentation and boundary troubleshooting.

On onboarding, eligible for remote work; candidates must reside in Washington or Oregon and be able to work onsite at the Public Service Center in Vancouver, WA.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience managing enterprise Cisco voice and network systems.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications and contact centers.
• Knowledge of SIP, RTP, codecs, NAT/firewall behavior, QoS, and voice troubleshooting.
• Ability to document systems clearly and produce procedures and inventories.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer the County's Cisco voice environment (CUCM, voicemail, contact center, call routing).
• Troubleshoot voice and telecom issues including registration, SIP trunks, and QoS.
• Support network functions (switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, WAN) affecting voice services.
• Maintain documentation, inventories, and change records.
• Follow change-management practices and communicate with collaborators.
