Job summary

Clark County Washington is seeking a Network and Telecom Administrator to be the primary Cisco voice administrator for the County, owning day-to-day Cisco VoIP, CUCM, voicemail, contact center, call routing, SIP/PSTN connectivity, gateways, phones, and related services.

You will troubleshoot across voice and network boundaries, document procedures, and coordinate with vendors and carriers. Remote work becomes possible after onboarding, with onsite needs in Vancouver, WA.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience managing enterprise Cisco voice, telecom, unified communications, or network infrastructure.
• Experience administering Cisco voice, unified communications, telecommunications, contact center, or network systems.
• Working knowledge of VoIP fundamentals (SIP, RTP, codecs, NAT/firewall behavior, QoS, troubleshooting).
• Strong documentation skills and ability to produce procedures and inventories.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the County's Cisco voice environment, including CUCM, voicemail, contact center, call routing, SIP/PSTN connectivity, gateways, phones, and related services.
• Troubleshoot voice and telecom issues across registration, routing, SIP trunk, gateway, voicemail, and QoS.
• Support Cisco network functions including switching, routing, VLANs, wireless, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, and WAN connectivity.
• Maintain documentation, inventories, support procedures, and change records.
• Follow change-management practices with clear communication and rollback plans.
