Job summary

RTX in the United States seeks a Project Leader for Pratt & Whitney's MSEN organization to lead CIPT multi‑discipline activities across bearings, seals, gears, and more. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risk, and drive program execution for next‑gen engine components.

The role emphasizes leadership, engineering oversight, and collaboration with suppliers, customers, and leadership to deliver on project milestones and technical decisions in a highly regulated aerospace

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or Aviation industry; or an Advanced degree.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to CIPT for part-level ownership, including communication, risk management, and execution to program requirements.
  • Identify, manage, and close technical risks and issues, partnering with the IPT and cross-functional teams to drive solutions.
  • Support successful technical and program reviews, ensuring the team is prepared to communicate progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Help manage IPT budgets and schedules to meet program commitments.
  • Track and support technical and business metrics to drive program performance.
  • Participate in customer, SIPT, IPMT, and senior management interactions and presentations.
  • Provide technical support for validation engine builds and engine test activities.
