ARIZONA DEPT OF CORRECTIONS, REHABILITATION & REENTRY seeks an IT Modernization Leader to guide enterprise modernization and AI governance. Lead secure, scalable platforms, advocate ethical AI, and align IT with mission priorities.

The CIO will mentor teams, set governance, manage budgets, and partner with state agencies to deliver measurable, long-term improvements while ensuring compliance and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT modernization initiatives across large organizations.
• Experience with AI frameworks, predictive analytics, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and IT compliance.
• Ability to develop budgets and manage procurement.
• Experience coordinating cross-agency IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for enterprise IT modernization.
• Define IT policies, standards, governance, and enterprise architecture.
• Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT leaders.
• Plan and manage IT budget and roadmaps.
