Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years of IT leadership in higher education or similar complex environment.
Strong knowledge of IT governance, budgeting, security and service delivery.
Experience building high performing IT teams.
Familiarity with Higher Ed ERP systems; Ellucian Banner preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the IT strategic plan and roadmap with leadership and stakeholders.
Manage IT budget and resources, and optimize asset utilization.
Lead and supervise IT staff, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Establish IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems and services.
Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across IT services.
Foster collaboration among IT units and other departments.
Anticipate IT needs and identify innovative opportunities.
Build partnerships with vendors and negotiate contracts and SLAs.
Represent IT in relevant forums and promote the institution’s IT vision.
