Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, MIS or related field; experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Administrative leadership with management and supervisory experience.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to cultivate partnerships and work with diverse groups of staff, faculty, and students.
• Ability to integrate data into decision making to promote effective practice and policy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data processing, information management, and systems analysis.
• Proficiency in computer applications including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and IT strategy development.
• IT Governance, policy development, and compliance oversight.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT department; recruit and evaluate staff.
• Develop and manage the IT budget; optimize resource allocation.
• Plan and oversee IT projects; ensure on-time delivery and within scope/budget.
• Ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Negotiate and manage IT vendor contracts and performance.
• Communicate IT strategies and performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement and drive technology innovation across the college.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
