Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Head of Digital Transformation and CIO to lead a college-wide IT strategy at Delta College. The role is onsite, reporting to executive leadership, and focuses on transforming technology adoption and governance across the campus.

You will guide executive-level decisions, influence campus communications, and ensure alignment of Ellucian strategy with Delta College goals, while championing collaboration and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT leadership experience in higher education.
Experience serving on campus executive leadership teams.
Broad knowledge of higher education technology trends.
Knowledge of Ellucian Banner SaaS and ERP/SIS integrations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Lead a high‑performing technology organization and culture of service excellence.
Develop and direct strategic goals, governance, and procedures for IT.
Collaborate with the President and Executive Leadership Team to align technology with strategy.
Drive technology transformation and change across campus initiatives.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to translate plans into action.
