Job summary
Regal Cinemas is seeking an IT Cinema Tier 2 Support Technician I to support cinema technology and lead IT scope for openings, remodels, and new projects. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure systems meet service levels across multiple theatres.
Based in Knoxville with hybrid, field-based, or remote options depending on role, you’ll collaborate with IT colleagues to keep operations running smoothly and help bring the moviegoing
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience supporting IT infrastructure, hardware, and software in a technical environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and in a team.
- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and decision-making under pressure.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to changing project needs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and respond to technical incidents.
- Lead IT scope of projects including theatre openings, remodels, and closures with timelines and standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on equipment installs, cabling, and system configurations.
- Monitor system performance, document updates, and ensure SLAs are met.
- Collaborate across IT teams to improve processes, maintain infrastructure, and support ongoing operations.
