Job summary

GQT Movies is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide frontline technical support across theater locations and corporate users. You will diagnose hardware, software, printers, and networking issues, with both remote and on-site support for POS and digital signage systems.

The role emphasizes strong customer service in a fast-paced entertainment environment. The ideal candidate will assist with Openings, remodels, upgrades, and infrastructure projects, travel up to 25%, and work about 20

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
Knowledge of computer hardware, printers, and networking fundamentals.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate when needed.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25%.
Approximately 20 hours per week with flexible maintenance coverage.

Responsibilities

Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and calls from theater and corporate staff.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and networking issues.
Provide remote and on-site support for theater locations.
Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Support Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts.
Assist with Active Directory administration and password resets.
Coordinate with GoTo Connect and vendors to resolve issues.
Document issues, steps taken, and resolutions in ticketing system.
Support POS systems, digital signage, network and security devices.
